One of the most significant benefits of our association is our shared responsibility to maintain property values and high aesthetic standards. To achieve this, we must all consider our community’s overall curb appeal.

Maintaining a cohesive look helps protect property values and attract future buyers. While our Declarations grant the board some authority over private property aesthetics, we request that each member consider the community as a whole before making changes to their home's exterior or landscaping.

When our cottage homes were built, the vision was to maintain cohesiveness within specific color families. Please keep the following guidelines in mind for exterior updates:

  - Shutters and Front Doors: These should be a darker color than the siding and trim to complement the exterior. White shutters and front doors are not acceptable based on the community's color palette.

  - Body Colors: Bright, intense colors can devalue our properties and are also unacceptable.

Before making any changes, please review both the Greater POA and the Weston Ridge Cottage Homes governing documents.

Please refer to the Exterior Color Chart and suggested Earth Tone Color Samples attached below to help guide your selections. We hope each member will respect the original vision for our cottage community.
